Changelog Oct 4, 2026 - Market State, and an AI terminal that saves scans and sets alerts

A new Market State card reads breadth, volume, concentration and correlation for the most-traded US stocks. The AI terminal can now save scans, set alerts and build watchlists, with a card to confirm each change.

An index tells you where its biggest stocks went. Market State, a new dashboard card, shows you what the rest of the stocks did on the same day. The AI terminal can now save scans, set alerts and build watchlists for you. Alerts gain a pause and a daily limit, and the scanner can compare two studies by a percentage gap.

Market State: breadth for the whole market

Add the Market State card to your dashboard on the web or in the app, then pick a group: the Top 500 or Top 1000 US stocks by 63-day dollar volume, the Next 2,000 below them, or every listed US stock. For the latest session, the card answers four questions about that group:

    • Participation: how many stocks are joining in? Advancers against decliners, the share above their 50- and 200-day averages, new 52-week highs and lows, and the High-Low Index.
    • Volume: does the money agree? Up-volume share, and dollar volume against a normal day for that weekday.
    • Concentration: a few names, or the whole market? The top 10's share of the move, how many stocks drove it, and the average stock against the index.
    • Co-movement: do stocks move together, or on their own news? Average correlation and rotation strength.

Each row puts today's reading against the metric's own past year, so P90 means higher than 90% of last year's sessions. Open a row for its full history. The card also flags breadth events like 90% up and down days, Zweig breadth thrusts and Lowry bottoming. On the web, Compare groups sets all four groups side by side and marks any row where the biggest 500 and the next 2,000 disagree. Explain sends the reading to the AI terminal.

Participation works on every plan. Volume, concentration and co-movement, and the events read from them, need Super Pro. The card updates at the end of each trading day.

The AI terminal can make changes for you

Ask the terminal to save the scan you just ran, turn its alerts on or pause them all until Monday, start a watchlist from your last results, or make a share link. It can also rename or delete your scans and watchlists.

Small changes you can reverse happen at once, with an Undo button. Anything bigger arrives as a card that shows what will change, and waits for you to click Confirm. The feature starts switched off: turn it on at Account → Settings → AI assistant → Let the AI assistant make changes. It works on every plan, but each change passes the app's usual checks, so scan alerts still need Super. The terminal won't create API tokens or touch billing.

It also answers from your own account, like which saved scan did best over a holding period or why an alert didn't fire.

    Alerts and the scanner

    • Account → Settings → Alerts pauses every alert for up to a week, or until you turn them back on, and lets you lower the daily cap from 20. Your scans keep running while alerts are paused.
    • The Push notifications switch in that section now covers scans you saved before this release. Turn it off and every scan stops pushing, except one you've set to push on its own.
    • Compare two studies with a gap: "the 50 EMA is at least 2% below the 200 EMA", on the web and in the app.
    • Sort scan results by relative strength, five regime columns or P/E.
    • The IPO event filter has a Listing type, so you can include or leave out SPACs.

    Also in this release

    • Changing the study on the other side of a comparison no longer wipes your ± tolerance band.
    • Exported scan JSON keeps your theme and country limits.
    • Searching alert history or saved scans by name matches the exact text you type.
    • API and MCP: a chunked or bodyless POST no longer fails with a 500, and a scan our engine refuses returns a 422 with a reason and a code.
