The Big Dippers
A strong stock does not rise in a straight line. This scan looks for leaders that have pulled back. It starts with companies worth $10 billion or more whose 50-day moving average sits above the 200-day, a confirmed uptrend, and whose relative strength rating against the market is 80 or higher. It then keeps only those whose daily RSI(14) has cooled to between 30 and 50, so the dip is real. Volume must also have run more than 1 standard deviation above its 20-session average at least once in the last 3 sessions, so the pullback is drawing attention rather than drifting. Results are sorted by market cap, largest first. A dip in a leader can be a pause or the start of a reversal, which is why the trend and relative strength filters come first.

- Daily RSI(14) between 30 and 50
- Daily SMA(50) greater than SMA(200)
- Daily Relative volume(20) greater than 1 within 3 bars
- Relative strength vs market greater than or equal to 80
- Market cap greater than or equal to $10B
