To receive a dividend you must own the shares before the ex-dividend date; buy on or after it and the payment goes to the seller. The share price usually opens lower on the ex-date by roughly the amount of the dividend, so the date matters to income investors timing a purchase and to traders on either side of it. This scan lists US-listed stocks whose regular dividend goes ex today or in the next 7 calendar days, among names averaging at least $10 million a day in dollar volume over the last 50 sessions. Special and one-off dividends are excluded, so every name on the list pays a recurring dividend. The window rolls forward each day.
