A forward split gives shareholders more shares at a lower price each, such as two new shares for every one held, without changing what the company is worth. Boards usually split after a long run-up has pushed the share price high, which is why traders follow them around the ex-date. This scan lists US-listed stocks whose forward split went ex in the last 30 calendar days or is scheduled to go ex in the next 30, among names averaging at least $10 million a day in dollar volume over the last 50 sessions. Forward splits are uncommon, a handful a month across US listings, so the list is often short and sometimes empty. Stock dividends are never counted as splits.
