Recent Reverse Split Stocks

A reverse split swaps a company’s shares for fewer, higher-priced ones, such as one new share for every ten old ones. Most are done by small companies trying to lift the price back above an exchange’s minimum bid, so a list of them is a list of resets, not a quality screen. This scan lists US-listed common stock, ordinary shares and ADRs whose reverse split went ex in the last 30 calendar days, and keeps only names averaging at least $5 million a day in dollar volume over the last 50 sessions, because most reverse splits happen in shares almost nobody trades. Traders watch the list for the drift that often follows a reverse split and for the occasional squeeze in a newly shrunken float. The window rolls with the calendar, so a name drops off 30 days after its ex-date, and stock dividends are never counted as splits.
