A chart's timeframe is two choices. The interval sets how much time one candle covers, from 1 minute to 1 month. The range (called Lookback on mobile) sets how far back the chart goes. You pick them separately, so 5-minute candles over the last day and daily candles over two years are both one click away.
Set the timeframe
- Open the interval dropdown above the chart (the ruler icon, showing the current interval such as 1d) and pick an interval.
- Pick a range from the buttons beside it: 1D, 5D, 1M, 3M, 6M, YTD, 1Y, 3Y or Max.
On a narrow window, the range buttons fold into a dropdown. The scan results Charts view has the interval dropdown only.

Intervals
On the Free plan, minute and hour intervals show a bolt icon and can't be picked. A chart saved on an intraday interval opens on 1d until you upgrade.
How far back each interval goes
Short intervals keep less history. On web, a long range on minute candles shows only the days that exist, so 1Y on 1m still shows only the last few days.
The app caps the lookback per interval and offers only lookbacks that draw at least 10 candles:

Tips
- Match the interval to how long you plan to hold, and the range to how much context you need around today.
- Check a breakout on two intervals. A clean daily close can hide a failed intraday push.
- Indicators are computed on the interval you pick, so a 14-period RSI on 5-minute candles covers 70 minutes, not 14 days. The study reference lists each study's inputs. Indicators and value scales shows how to add one.
