On the free plan, scanr shows market data 15 minutes late. Super and Super Pro get it in realtime. The app labels delayed data on charts and dashboard cards.

Signed out, you see delayed prices too. Ticker news is two days behind until you sign in.
Where the app says data is delayed
- Charts show Live (15m delayed) instead of Live.
- Watchlist cards on the dashboard say Prices delayed 15 min. with an Upgrade for realtime link.
- In the app, the ticker chart says Candles delayed 15 min.
Trading sessions
US stocks trade in three sessions. scanr streams prices from all three.
The % change column compares the last trade, in any session, with the previous close. A stock can move a lot before the open on very little volume.
Outside the regular session, a live price cell shows a PRE or EXT badge. Hover it to see which session the price printed in.
Market holidays and half days
scanr follows the US market calendar. Before a holiday, a banner on the dashboard, the scanner and ticker pages says when markets are closed or close early at 1pm ET. Dismiss it and it stays hidden for that holiday.
On a closed day:
- Prices and charts hold at the last trade.
- Saved scans that run in the background find nothing new, so expect no alerts.
- A rescan returns the same matches as the last run. The scanner tells you when results come from an earlier run and the market has been closed since.
