On this page
Every stock and ETF page opens on a candlestick chart. The same chart shows up in your scan results and on your dashboard, so you can check a setup without leaving the page you're on. The scanner tells you which stocks match. The chart shows you why, with the scan's own studies drawn on it.
Tour
Each study that doesn't share the price scale gets its own panel under the candles.
- Live: the feed status. On the Free plan the chart offers Upgrade for realtime, and signed out it offers Sign in to see live data.
- Interval (ruler icon) and range buttons: how much time each candle covers and how far back the chart goes. See Chart timeframes.
- Enlarge chart and Fullscreen chart: more room for the plot.
- Draw (pencil): trend lines, levels, boxes and notes. See Drawing tools and export.
- Export chart (image icon): a PNG of the chart as drawn.
- Chart settings (gear): studies, market data panels, event markers, zones and display options.
- Legend: open, high, low, close, change and volume for the bar under your cursor, then each study's value.
Where charts appear
An ETF page uses the same chart as a stock page.
Chart settings
Open Chart settings (the gear on web). On web the dialog has four tabs.
The ⋯ menu in the dialog saves and loads your settings as a preset. See Chart presets.
On mobile, the settings sheet has three tabs and a Presets button. Display holds the theme, volume bars, crosshair, last price marker, zones and the date format and timezone. Technicals holds the studies, and Data series the market data panels. Event markers, scan triggers, Log scale, Chart type, Right padding and the Patterns tab are on web only.

Supply and demand zones
Supply zones shade price areas where sellers stepped in before, which can act as resistance. Demand zones shade areas where buyers stepped in, which can act as support.
Market data plans
A locked series shows Available on Super Pro (or Super) and an upgrade button.
More you can do from a chart
- Export a list to TradingView. That export takes a scan's matches or a watchlist, not one chart. See Export and share.
Tips
- Turn on Show earnings before you hold a position overnight. The E markers show you how the stock moved on past reports.
- Use Log scale on a chart that doubled or more. Equal percentage moves then look the same size.
- Check Show my scan triggers on a ticker your scan keeps finding. You see where the scan fired before and what happened next.
