A zone is a price area where a stock has traded heavy volume before. Traders treat those areas as support and resistance, because buyers and sellers who traded there often act again when price comes back. The zone filter finds stocks whose price sits inside a zone, or clear of every zone, right now.
A zone above the current price is a Supply zone: resistance, where sellers have met price before. A zone at or below the current price is a Demand zone: support, where buyers have stepped in.
Tour
One row: position, zone type, timeframe and duration.
- Inside zone / Outside zone: whether price must sit in a zone or clear of every zone.
- Supply / Demand: the zone type.
- Timeframe: 5 minutes, 1 hour or 1 day.
- Duration: how many of the latest bars must close in, or out of, a zone.

How the scanner finds zones
For each stock and timeframe, the scanner finds the price levels where the most volume changed hands over a stretch of history. Each level becomes a zone a few percent wide. Zones of the same type that touch merge into one.
A stock needs at least 30 bars on the timeframe to get zones.

Tips
- Pair Inside zone and Demand with an oversold reading such as RSI(14)<40 to find pullbacks into support.
- Raise the duration to require price to hold a zone, not just touch it.
- Check the zone on the chart before you trade. Turn on Supply zones and Demand zones under Supply & demand zones in the chart settings.
- Daily zones carry more weight than 5-minute zones. They come from years of trading, not weeks.
