Plans and limits
Available on: Web · iOS · Android
On this page
scanr has three plans: Free, Super and Super Pro. Every plan gets the scanner, the dashboard, watchlists and the iOS and Android apps. Paid plans add realtime data, more filters, scan alerts and the AI Terminal. The pricing page calls the free plan Starter.
Prices change, so this page leaves them out. See current prices, monthly and yearly, on scanr.ai/pricing.
Compare plans
The limits below are the ones the app enforces. A dash means the plan doesn't include it.
Scanning
The free daily scan count resets at midnight UTC. A scan also holds at most 32 groups, nested three deep. See Building scans.
Filters
Super can filter on the regime indicators, but their values in result columns and on charts need Super Pro. A filter your plan doesn't include shows a lock and the plan it needs. See Scanner 101 for what each filter type screens.
Alerts and AI
A scan alert tells you when a saved scan finds new tickers. It needs a paid plan because only paid plans re-run saved scans in the background. AI credits reset at midnight UTC.

API and MCP
API and MCP access is a separate add-on with its own billing and limits. You can add it to any plan, Free included, and your plan's limits don't apply to API calls. See API and MCP.
Pay on the web or in the app
You can subscribe in two places. Either way the plan belongs to your scanr account, so it works on the web and in both apps once you sign in.
The API add-on is sold on the web only.
Subscriptions and billing covers upgrading, downgrading, canceling and receipts step by step.
Tips
- Start on Free to learn the scanner. Five scans a day is enough to try the presets and build a first scan.
- Change your plan where you bought it. If you pay on the web, upgrade on the web too: buying in the app starts a second subscription.
- Check the lock before you build a scan around a filter. The lock names the plan the filter needs.
