On this page
The results are every stock that matched your scan. Each row is one stock, with its price and the facts you chose to show. Prices update live. The list of matches only changes when you scan again.
Tour
The line above the grid says how many stocks matched and how many the scan checked.
- Match line: "1,362 matches from 5,692 scanned in 1.11s". The second number is the size of your universe.
- Updated: when the scan ran. A Stale badge means you changed the filters since. Earlier run means the results come from an older run. Click Rescan in either case.
- Rows: one per match, in the scan's sort order.
- Pages: 12 rows a page.
- View: the picker at the top left switches between List (the grid), Charts (a candle chart per ticker) and Overview (key metrics and regime at a glance).
- Column menu: the ⋮ button at the right end of the header row. Pick 12, 24, 50 or 100 rows a page at the bottom of the grid.
- Watchlist: saves the matches as a watchlist.
- Click ⋮ at the right end of the header row.
- Click a column to show or hide it. A check mark means it shows. Type in Search columns… to find one.
Columns you can add
Currency, OTC, % Change, Volume and the regime columns start hidden. On a plan without access, a locked column shows blurred values and an upgrade link.
Sort the results
Sorting is part of the scan, not the grid. Clicking a column header does not reorder the rows.
- Open the universe settings: the gear icon next to Scan on web, or Filters and then the options icon on mobile.
- Under Sort, pick a Field, then Desc or Asc.
- Run the scan again.
The scan sorts every match, not only the page you see, so page 1 holds the top of the list. The Universe page lists every sort field.
Percent change
% Change compares the last trade with the previous day's closing price. The last trade can come from any session, so before the open it shows the pre-market move, and after the close it includes after-hours trading.
Sort has two versions:
- % Change (all sessions) ranks on the same number the column shows: last trade, any session, against the previous close.
- % Change (regular session) ranks on the move during regular hours only. Before the 9:30 a.m. ET open, no stock has a regular-session move yet.
Outside regular hours, web shows a PRE or EXT badge beside Last Price to tell you which session the price came from.
Live updates
Last price, % change, size and volume stream live for up to 500 matches, and the cells flash when they tick. The set of matches stays fixed until you scan again.
On the Free plan, prices run 15 minutes behind the market. Super and Super Pro get realtime prices.
For a saved scan, turn on Auto-refresh results in the universe settings. The grid then reloads whenever the scan refreshes in the background, including when stocks drop out. It pauses while the scan has unsaved filter changes. Super and Super Pro.
- Click a symbol to open its stock page in a new tab.
- Right-click a symbol for more: Open and Ask AI about that stock.
- Switch the view to Charts for a candle chart of every match.
- Each chart opens on its last 50 bars. Scroll over it to zoom out, up to 250 bars.
All four live in the Filters menu.
- Export for TradingView: a
.txtwatchlist file of every match, not only the page you see. Copy or Download .txt, then in TradingView open the watchlist panel and use Import list…. Turn on Add exchange prefixes only if your import needs symbols likeNASDAQ:AAPL. - Save results as watchlist: copies the matches into a watchlist, up to 1,000 tickers. The watchlist doesn't follow the scan afterward.
- Share results: a link anyone can open. Pick Live values (the same tickers, priced when someone opens it) or Frozen snapshot (today's numbers, kept as they are), and when the link expires, from 24 hours to Never.
- Export filters: the scan's filters as JSON, not its results.
There is no CSV export.
Export and share need a scan with results. If you changed the filters since the last run, Export for TradingView and Save results as watchlist wait until you rescan, so the list can't come from the wrong filters.
Tips
- Add % Change before the open. It is hidden by default, and it shows the pre-market move as soon as stocks trade.
- Exporting a long list? Use Export for TradingView, not the page in front of you. It takes every match.
- Pick a Frozen snapshot when you share a list for a post or a journal. A live link reprices every time someone opens it.
